Statistics have proven that a number of unemployed graduates is increasing rapidly in the past year, a lot of young people have been unemployed for many years while they hold degrees in their hands. A lot of young South Africans are either self employed as hockers for them to barely go to bed with some food on their table. Some sell sweets and chips on the streets, while others sell muffins and food.
So the question remains, In the current state that we are in is education still relevant because some other young people who went to universities still owe universities a huge lump sum of money which forces them not to get their qualifications. And how will you get employment if the employer doesn’t see proof that you’ve studied and you are qualified for the job.
Something has to be done with the unemployment issue in the country, what do you think has to be done to change this crisis?
