It’s that time of the year where students have to go back to the universities, some students suffer to register and some are already registered and coded. There are news that have been trending recently after the incident that took place in DUT.
It is alleged they the students were protesting since most of them are not yet allocated to their residents and they are not registered. Then in that protest it turned that they burned down four cars that were on campus. This caused a lot to university and workers. See pictures below :
As you can see from the above picture the damage is made. Therefore the Durban University of Technology came with the conclusion that they will be closing the three main campuses in Durban until further notice .
