3 Reasons Otedola’s Daughter, DJ Cuppy, May End Up Marrying Twitter Influencer, Asiwaju Lerry.

Today, popular Nigerian female DJ, Florence Otedola professionally known as DJ Cuppy, had a virtual date with the popular Ibadan based Twitter influencer, Asiwaju Lerry also known as Duke Of Ibadan, who has always declared affection for the Femi Otedola’s daughter.

Meanwhile, having listened to their conversation held over the Twitter space, I will be explaining the 3 major reasons DJ Cuppy may decide to settle down with the influencer despite the age and class differences between them.

1. Time And Family Pressure

DJ Cuppy revealed in the course of their conversation that she is currently facing pressure from her family as regards bringing a man to them.

When Lerry told DJ Cuppy to help him talk to her mom, Nana Otedola, to accept his friend request on Instagram, Cuppy explained that talking to her isn’t the problem but, frankly speaking, the next man she is going to introduce to her family is going to be her husband.

“Because they don tire for me,” Cuppy retorted.

2. Cuppy’s Understanding Of Real Happiness While discussing on the Twitter space, Cuppy rightly pointed out that money is not happiness. And, according to her, happiness is all that matters. “Guess what? I know a lot of rich and successful people who their lives are miserable,” she maintained.

While talking further, Cuppy explained that there are lots of other things she could be doing besides DJ, but she decided on DJing because it makes her happy. “At the end of the day, we are all responsible for our own happiness,” she affirmed.

3. Lerry definitely lived up to her expectations 

Lerry has been chasing and hyping Cuppy all over the social media for more two years. Even though, the celebrity DJ wouldn’t budge or react to Lerry’s posts defending and supporting her activities, which usually made other Twitter users banter him, but Lerry too wouldn’t give up.

However, Cuppy reacted to Lerry’s post on Twitter, for the first time ever, last year’s Valentina’s day when the influencer shared his love note for DJ Cuppy. Then, she reacted on the post with a blushing emoji. Since then, Cuppy had mentioned Lerry’s handle a couple of times before finally deciding on a date with him.

In their conversation, Cuppy clearly expressed that she was happy with the date with Lerry and then asked a couple of questions about moving their relationship to another level. 

Cuppy will be 30 by November this year, and according to her, her family are no longer finding it funny with her as far as her marriage is concerned. Therefore, I won’t be so surprised if Cuppy decide to settle down with Lerry whom she knows would do everything possible to make her happy.
