How open can you get with your spouse? Are there secrets you have that you can never reveal to them, or are both of you just like Adam and Eve, naked and unashamed?
Faith Oyedepo said that God expects that when two become one in holy wedlock, nothing should be kept as a secret between them. She said that they should both be open to one another and to walk in sincerity.
The Bible says that Adam and his wife were both naked and unashamed. I believe that the word “naked” could mean that they were open with each other; there was no secrets between them and they could see everything about each other.
However, I will like to ask: are there some necessary secrets a man or a woman must keep from his wife or her husband? For example, is it advisable for a spouse to know the ATM PIN or phone password of their partner?
What I feel is that if there are no secrets, the trust level between the two people will be very high. It will be so high that if a secret is discovered the hurt will be massive.
