It was reported earlier today that the Supreme Court just voided President Buhari’s Executive Order 10 (EO10), declaring it as unlawful and illegal.
According to a decision that was taken by the supreme court, the majority of the seven member panel agreed that President Buhari exceeded his constitutional powers in issuing the EO10.
Based on that note, a well known human rights activist, Adeyanju Deji decided to react. Adeyanju Deji is one Nigerian man who has gained so much love from Nigerians, due to the way and manner he speaks. While reacting, he described this particular decision that was taken by the supreme court as a good and wonderful decision.
That’s a good one from the the supreme court. This is the reason why we have three arms of government. The three arms of government should try to control the activities of one another so that things will be able to move well. It will be nice if the legislative arm of governenmt will be able to learn one or two things from what the judiciary did here.
