The birthday celebration of Kwame Despite, one of the richest Ghanaians in the country presented lots of things to talk about. Some of the memorable happenings included the presentation of the two houses from Despite to his sisters and the lots of dignitaries that were present.
Abeiku Santana who is often the go-to MC for these types of programs was also present. Although he was already the talk of the town due to the recent controversial video Abena Korkor had posted, a minor event during the birthday celebration would make Ghanaians talk about him even more.
During a picture-taking session, some dignitaries and close friends who honored Despite’s invitation wanted to take a picture with him. Abeiku Santana during the birthday celebration seemed to always be in proximity to Kwame Despite. So when the group of dignitaries went for a photograph with Kwame Despite, Abeiku Santana joined them.
The overcrowding in the room and Abeiku Santana being in the way caused Kwame Despite direct Abeiku Santana to stand in a better position so that a well-organized picture can be taken.
Ghanaians however reacted to Kwame Despite’s gesture as that Abeiku Santana was not part of his “clique”, and thus was sacking him from being included in the picture.
However, it is in my opinion that Despite was rather ensuring that a decent-looking picture was taken.
