Why Destroy It: Ghanaians Angrily Bash Police For Destroying Huge Acres Of Land With Cannabis

Ghanaians for the first time in a while has not bashed nor criticized the current police administration but rather has always rained praises of competence and professionalism in their line of duty, but not this time.

This happens after a joint operation led by the Narcotics Control Commission with support from the Immigration Service and the police, about forty acres of cannabis farms got entirely destroyed at Liati Dafornu in the Afadjato South District of the Volta Region.

Where 4 persons a pregnant woman working on the farm have been arrested and held by the Afadjato South District police command.

The issue with Ghanaians is not the arrest nor enforcing the laws of the land, but the act of destroying such huge plantation of what many believes would have served as income and monetary booster to the country and to the people of Afadjato South District as a whole.

They believe the police and the entire joint task force haven’t dealt with the issue more thoughtfully disposition.
