We Are Not Accepting Anything: Massive Reactions As NPP Gets Ready For Another Meeting On E-Levy

Ghanaians have in their disagreement against the E-Levy attacked an agenda by the New Patriotic Party [NPP] to organize another town hall meeting in the western region respectively. 

Ghanaians have commented against their attempt to bring to light the exact intent and benefits from the E-Levy and the need for it to be accelerated and accepted by all. 

The E-Levy has been a pungent topic in Parliament, public domain, media houses, social media, and Ghanaians at large since it was suggested by the government in the 2022 budget.

The post on social media reads that: “All is set for the Government Town-Hall on E-Levy at the Sekondi Youth Centre in the Western Region. Live on TV, Radio, and on the Ministry’s social media platforms”.

The government, led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who has assigned Ken Ofori-Atta as finance minister is on the verge of losing grip on the important policy yet to be implemented.  

Ghanaians seem to be towing on the path of the opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC] who are convincingly bent on crashing the implementation of this important aspect of the 2021 proposed budget. 

The town hall meeting is yet to be aired which is slated at 3:PM. 

The question is will Ghanaians change their stance on the E-Levy?
