A preacher woman by the name of Aku Koshie spent 7 years in prison for beating his brother’s son who had been living with her for 4 months. The 4 years old boy misbehaved and out of anger, she beat up the child mercilessly. She said the boy often goes to people houses to eat and gets missing as a result of that.
On that very day she beat up the child, the little boy had followed a young man to his house to eat. Aku searched everywhere for the boy but could not find him. Later the man he followed brought him back after several attempts to find him. This made Aku extreme anger and beat the child with a wood.
The child sustained injuries to his back and hands. Aku mentioned that although she was a preacher of the gospel, she had anger issues and used to fight a lot in her area, Agbogbloshie in Accra. Someone after witnessing the boy being beaten went to report the case to the Police.
The residents in the area also came to know of what Aku did, ganged at her and her 17 years old son and beat them up. After her arrest, she was also beaten at the Police station and later taken to court where she was jailed for 7 years to Nsawam Prison.
The preacher of the gospel who was trying to win souls for God did not work on herself and landed herself in jail. She said she had gone through a lot of reformation and promises to be a better person out of prison.
