Former Ndaragwa Constituency member of parliament Jeremiah Kioni who is also a close ally to President Uhuru Kenyatta was on Sunday evening full of praise for DP Ruto.
Kioni alongside nominated senator Isaac Mwaura on Sunday evening appeared on Inooro TV kiririmbi show. Mwaura an adamant follower of DP Ruto took sides in defending UDA and Kenya kwanza alliance while his counterpart Kioni defended Azimio la Umoja and President Kenyatta.
According to senator Mwaura, DP Ruto will possibly clinch the August 9th election by landslide as he enjoys more support from MT Kenya region as well as other regions.
In return, Jeremiah Kioni rubbished Mwaura’s numbers stating that Raila and Ruto share 50% support each from MT Kenya at the moment. Kioni predicted that by the time Uhuru tours the region, Ruto’s support will deflate like a balloon.
In reaction to the latest formation of Kenya Kwanza alliance that includes Ruto and Mudavadi and Wetangula, Kioni revealed that Ruto was being smart with his focus not on 2022 but 2027.
Kioni stated that Ruto already knows he will probably lose the forthcoming elections hence the smart move to start weakening his 2027 competitions.
Kioni stated Ruto is young hence has more years to campaign for Presidency and his focus being in the next election, no candidate will match his powers once Raila’s term is over.
