Nigerian winger becomes the biggest sale in his club history as he leaves for Copenhagen

The transfer window is at its deadline, usually, clubs wrap up some of the best deals on the transfer deadline. Some players and clubs are setting sales records, just like a Nigerian footballer just did in Sweden.

Akinkunmi Amoo was in the plans of Austin Eguavoen for the African Cup of Nations, the tactician said that Amoo would have been the one to replace Ighalo if not for the rules set by CAF, he is that good. Amoo is still young, but he is a talented lad who has a bright future.

The 19-year-old joined Hammarby IF in Sweden in 2020, he just left to play for Copenhagen in Denmark and the Swedish club has made a massive profit in the sale of the Nigerian. The club paid €200,000 for his services and sold him for €4.5 million.

The club is happy with him because he was a talented and fantastic professional. They wished him well in Copenhagen, where he will continue his career on a bigger stage and play alongside Mukairu.

Congratulations to him!
