Former Kakamega senator Bony has finally broken his silence after details of their closed-door meeting with ODM party. The ex-senator has issued a statement after the ODM party leaders from North Ikoomani in Kakamega county endorsed him to run for Kakamega gubernatorial race ahead of the August in general elections.
Taking this official Facebook account thr politician has issued a statement to alert his followers about the meeting that he had with the ODM members. “Today morning I held a breakfast meeting with Ikolomani North at the ODM party leaders. I’m so grateful that they took the opportunity to endorse me for Kakamega governor 2022.”
The senator who is running for the county’s top seat is set to lock horns with the current Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala in the gubernatorial race. An endorsement from the ODM party is a big boost for the politician since he will get a good support to clinch the county’s top seat in the next general elections.
