You could be suspended if you talked bad about this statue: Abusco old student reveals

Abuakwa State College is currently on the lips of most people and this can be attributed to the presence of a “controversial statue” on their campus. There is the presence of statues in many senior high schools across Ghana but, this particular one raises concerns and netizens cannot stop talking about it. Whenever you set your eyes on this particular statue, the first thing you are likely to do is to laugh and look at it one more time.

I must say this statue was made with no bad intent but this generation is rather reading unnecessary meanings into it. How people saw the statue in the 90s is certainly different from how we are seeing it in these times, and I am sure this is the reason why it is trending.

Moving to the details of the statue, you can see a boy and a girl(obviously students) holding a book together with the boy’s hand on the butt of the girl. This is a simple one and must give you an impression that, they are trying to communicate that sticking together can help you attain your aim but, netizens are thinking otherwise.

I don’t blame them, even the students of the school had issues with this statue especially with the position of the hand of the male. This generation needs sanctification because we are really spoilt. Let us take a look at some comments I compiled;
