A mother from Nigeria got the shock of her life when she discovered that her then 3-weeks old son became seriously sick after his birth. The sickness continued till the child reached 3-months of age but then, the boy just didn’t stop vomiting as he became quite emaciated from his illness.
The mother, Ijeoma Michael was quite confused because she did not know what made her child so sick as she gave birth to him through a cesarean section(C.S). The thing is that the mother had taken her child to different health care facilities where she had spent all her “life savings”.
Upon seeing that none of the treatments was yielding results, she cried out to a popular figure on Facebook whose name is Harrison Gwamnishu. The popular figure invited the lady to a Facebook live session that held a fundraiser for her boy’s medical bills.
Thankfully, the fundraiser was a success as they were able to get enough money to pay for the little one’s surgery. It took some while before the little boy started looking better and healthy.
Although it’s been months since the surgery was made in July of 2021, an update on the little boy was recently shared by the popular figure on Facebook which shows his current state. In the photos, you would see that he does not look emaciated anymore.
This is indeed a miracle as the little boy’s mother had wanted to throw her son away due to his severe condition but as fate had it, he has survived the terrible condition after a successful surgery was held.
This story just proves that when people care for their fellow human beings, then the world would be a much better place. No one ignored the fundraising event and as such, the little boy got to have his surgery.
