Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has made a bold statement ahead of their clash on Sunday.

The Phobians will host in form King Faisal at the Accra Sports Stadium in week 15 of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League. The Phobians have had mixed results in the ongoing season with the fans not too happy with their performance. As they get ready to face the “Insha Allah” Boys, head coach, Samuel Boadu says it is necessary they go all out to claim the three points.

“We need to work hard to ensure that we get the desired result this Sunday against King Faisal. It’s not going to come easy but we will also not relent on our efforts. The focus is clear and that is to pick maximum points.” Samuel Boadu said. Hearts of Oak have managed to claw five wins and recorded five draws with three defeats this season. Their defeats have come against, AshantiGold, Medeama and Karela United and now have 20 points seated in 8th position on the league log.

The millennium champions raked home 61 points to claim their 21st and first league title in over a decade. They squeezed through to claim the FA Cup trophy after an 8-7 penalty shootouts win over fellow premier league side, AshantiGold at the Accra with win automatically confirming them as the Super Cup winners under coach Samuel Boadu. Their continental club campaign left much to be desired after suffering double elimination in the last playoffs of both the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.
