UTAG President Opens Up On What Should Be Expected As 21 Days Ultimatum Approach

UTAG President, professor Solomon Nunoo has spoken about what will happen after the 21 days Ultimatum they gave to government to meet their needs.

Speaking to the host of Atinka FM’s AM Drive Kaakyire Ofori Ayim, the president of UTAG noted that even though upon all their cries, the government have turned deaf ears on their plea and have failed to meet the demands of their members of the association.

He stated that the government’s commitment to sit and negotiate with the associations is not forthcoming and it’s extremely very worrying

On whether schools will be closed down after the 21 days, professor Solomon Nunoo said universities may not close down but all boils down to the engagement of the government.

“I am not sure the public universities will be closed down, but it boils down to our engagement with government. As at now we have not heard any positive feedback from government and so as it stands everything depends on government,”  UTAG President Professor Solomon Nunoo told Kaakyire Ofori Ayim.
