Head coach Bechem United, Kasim Mingle is left disappointed with his side’s home draw to strugglers, West Africa Football Academy.
The Hunters were held by the Academy Boys to a stalemate at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in week 14 on Sunday. Bechem United’s home strength looks to be dying down after an energetic start to the season. Kasim Mingle said: “[I’m] disappointed, especially in the first half, we had chances which was easy to score than to miss and we missed all the chances.
“The opponents they came purposely for a draw and when you have the chances especially in the first half and you don’t take, it encourages them, gives them confidence that they can get the draw that they came for. “We were wasteful upfront so I’m very disappointed.” Kasim Mingle said at a post match press conference.
The Hunters have not been bad this term – collecting six wins, five draws and just three losses. It is not surprising that, they have clocked 23 points and occupy the third spot from 14 matches. They will be away to second place Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday, January 30.
