The focus should not be on the defenders but there must be a sharp attack and a compact midfield

Accra Hearts of Oak is jubilating on the signing of their defensive line but have a serious problem upfront.

Aside Afriyie Barnieh who is very swift on the ball and take defenders on, the rest are all liabilities relying on the player to connect.

All the matches the team has played this time with the player of the side been it Barnieh have been stealing all the headlines with his stylish and persevering display.

We cannot do away with Barnieh and just talk about the forward lines of the Phobians. There must be sharpness in the attacking line of the Phobians.

The supporters were aware of a striker who has been training with the club. William Asiedu who joined the team training regime from India and have been keeping up fit with the team.

It is a tough decision for the club to deliver in the second round of the season. Been it 2021/22 season, Hearts of Oak is considered to be one club that have been included in some crucial signings.

On the way is Konadu Yiadom from WAFA SC, Dennis Korsah from Dwarfs and yet to be added striker.

The striker should add more juicy performance to the existing set up. The team needs a better striker who is very pacy and clinical with the chances that will come their way.

Consistency should be key in signing any player to fit in the lineup for the Continental club masters. There must be a striker who is coming to start as a threat to the existing players not a bench warmer.

Finally, the midfield should work beyond expectation and get the team jointly compact with much endurance. This is a way Hearts will come back to the league winning table.
