Time and again, emphasis is placed on respect, politeness and courtesy. They are the few out of the many virtues that are upheld in our culture and so many do not take lightly to it. Date Rush, although being a major source of entertainment, is also a source of education especially for the youth, who pick up most of their characters from the scenes they watch on TV, and later apply it to their lives.
Unfortunately, some ladies who come on the Date Rush show disregard this and treat/ speak to the men and even their fellow colleague women anyhow. Augustine, in the just ended episode of season 6, was a victim of this act, as all the ladies turned off their “rushes” for he not meeting their expectations, thus leaving him without a date. Most of these ladies judge appearances and some of the men find themselves in trouble with them when their looks, fashion sense, clothes or shoes do not meet their taste.
Lovers of the show have therefore sent strong caution to these ladies to promote respect anytime it is their turn to speak on Date Rush,
