Khuzani Mpungose is one of the talented South African artists who took Maskand to another level.
Some say after the passing of Mgqumeni Mseleku and Ndidane, who was the leady of Amageza amahle, Maskandi was never the same.
However, many believe that the likes of Khuzani Mpungose, Ali Mgube, Ntencane and Mthandeni Manqele brought some vibe to the Maskandi genre.
Indeed, they have done extremely well for the genre, which is mostly appreciated in KwaZulu-Natal or by the Zulu people.
Khuzani Mpungose has been able to win the song of the year away at Ukhozi FM with his track titled “Ijele”.
The 32-year old is originally from KwaZulu-Natal, in a place called Nkandla.
On social media, the artist does keep his followers entertained. He recently shared a picture of his beautiful home which is situated in the rural areas in KZN.
People were inspired by what the artist has achieved so far.
