The outspoken host of Good Morning Africa on Pan Africa television, Kwame Owusu Danso, has told President Akufo Addo to let his conscience lead him in every action and decision he will make to curtail the issues of youth unemployment in the country.
Kwame Owusu Danso made this statement on today’s episode of ‘Good Morning Africa’ on Pan Africa television when he spoke his heart out about the hardship in Ghana and the growing menace of youth unemployment in the country.
According to Kwame Owusu Danso, the dreams of the Ghanaian youth are being submerged by the actions and inactions of the government.
“I don’t think that political leaders especially, this government; Nana Addo Danqua Akufo-Addo, you have just about two years more to go, you must let your conscience lead your actions. It is very important. You are a father, and you are a role model to many young people in this country, but you are failing them by the day.”
Kwame Owusu Danso indicated that there is no cohesion in the government’s attempt to address the challenges confronting the people of this country.
Kwame Owusu Danso stated that if you are a young man living in this country, there is no hope for you, and that’s the truth. There is no hope because there are no jobs available.
“Politics must necessarily affect all our lives and not specific people, but this government appears to have failed at all levels and at all fronts. This government is a complete disaster because the hardship is untoward.”
According to Kwame Owusu Danso, at some point, he gets frustrated and he has to talk about it. He said that we have been keeping this in our bellies for far too long, and if only we could open the gates to our hearts then people will know the pains that some of us harbor.
“I don’t know, but Nana Akufo Addo, we beg you, please you must do something. I don’t know how you are going to do that, but you must do something.” Kwame Owusu Danso added.
