”The atmosphere around the Black Stars have been negative. It will take a miracle for Ghana to qualify to the World Cup.” Dan Kwaku Yeboah , an experienced sports journalist has stated .
Dan Kwaku Yeboah further added in an interview with Roland Walker ,” It is a cause for alarm if Ghana must meet the Nigeria Senior team at the World Cup qualifier”.
The just ended World Cup Qualifiers Draw at the Africa Stage has concluded that the Black Stars will qualify for Quata 2022 if they win their game against the Nigerian Senior National Team.
In the same Draw, Egypt will play against Senegal, Cameron must play against Algeria, DR Congo must also win against Morocco and Mali must win against Tunisia.
Ghanaians are very worried about the current performance of the Ghanaian Senior National Team as they believe the team lacks the technical and management abilities to conquer any team in the World.
Some football analysts have said that ” if the Black Stars can not win against the Comoros , how can they score against Nigeria considering the strong composure of the Nigerian National team and their achievements in the ongoing AFCON; infact ,Wahala oo”. Some have complained about the inability of the team to even score against Algeria , Morocco and Gabon. Should the Black Stars go ahead to play the World Cup qualifier or rather wait till the team is technically ready ?
The Black Stars currently, does not have a lead coach since Coach Milovan was excused of his appointment. The management of the Black Stars are yet to appoint a replacement .
There are many issues in the Black Star team that must be worked on ; from our goal keeping to defence, midfield , striking and coaching .
