The rampant stealing of car batteries is alarming in Ghana, car owners always in fear to pack their vehicles where eyes are not watching.
In some communities in Ghana where there is no no packing lots, vehicle owners are frequently complaining about their missing batteries.
The cost of dry cell batteries are expensive, that why these thieves mostly targeted car batteries.
Interestingly, many car owners also ready to buy these stolen batteries for cheaper price, so the demand for car batteries are high.
However, another battery thief has been caught in Takoradi for stealing police car batteries.
In the video sight online locals are all over this criminal beating the hell out of him before handed him over to the police, luckily for this common criminal the locals were not aggressive compared to other communities it would have been a different story
