Popular Ghanaian Journalist and TV presenter, Captain Smart, has vowed never to sell his conscience to any political party like how some of his fellow top journalists have done. According to him, some journalists can talk about the wrong doings of politicians because they have been getting favors from them.
Speaking on Onua TV’s “Onua Maakye program this morning, he said he will never allow himself to be bought because that will mean giving away his conscience and therefore will not be able to criticize the leaders.
He made these statements whiles was talking about the government’s inability to pay 100,000 NABCO personnels for a few months now and also the 8 months arrears of some nurses. He mentioned the Medical doctors who have returned from studies abroad but haven’t been employed by the state.
He angrily called on top journalists in the country to push for a better Ghana agenda and not for their selfish interests.
