Sad news hit Ghanaians this afternoon after actor Adjetey Annan announced the passing of a former ‘Things We Do for Love’ colleague.
Marlene, who played the character of ‘Lois’ on the show, has died. The beautiful, young and vibrant actress apparently fell ill and succumbed to her illness.
Adjetey took to his Instagram timeline today, January 21st 2021 to reveal the sad news.
Mr Anang, who played ‘Pusher’ in the TV series, described her as one who “brought with u such youthful exuberance” to the star-studded programme.
Sharing videos of clips of Marlene playing her character ‘Lois’ on the ‘Things We Do for Love’, he paid her a fitting tribute.
“Our hearts are definitely broken! In the year 2000 u joined the #thingswedoforlove family, u brought with u such youthful exuberance making your character as “Lois” a memorable one,” Adjetey wrote.
“Marlene, we part ways with u too soon! We thank God for your life and example, growing into a young lady with a passion to live for Christ. Deepest condolences to your family. The Lord will watch over them. RIP.” he added.
