An illustrator and artist for most Ananse story books in Ghana Big Ortiz has reportedly joined his ancestors. Before his demise this prominent Ghanaian was in charge of designing major artistic depictions.
Kojo Akyereko who is an author and educationist confirmed the sad news.
” The artist who drew this scene for me is dead. Rest in peace Big Ortiz”
This news broke the hearts of many Ghanaians. Especially those who have benefited from his works. It’s However unclear about what actually took the life of such a talented and prominent Ghanaian.
We can only pray for the Patriotic soul of Big Ortiz. He paid his dues well and served mother Ghana with creativity and talent.
