The disastrous explosion, which recently happened at Bogoso, has changed the mood of Ghanaians and the atmosphere of Ghana at large. As the President of Ghana, President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo reacted to this sad development on Twitter. He explained that he had received some briefings on the circumstances that led to the explosion at Bogoso. He added that it was a sad and unfortunate incident and as such, he extended his condolences to the affected families. Nana Addo stated boldly that he has ordered NADMO to provide some relief items to the residents of Bogoso.
As sad as this might be, many Ghanaians have taken a political turn over this disaster especially when a similar disaster happened at Keta and the President has still not reacted to it. Several Ghanaians believed that the President was being tribalistic for not speaking or at least commiserating with the Keta residents for their loss.
