Lynx Entertainment signee Kuami Eugene has made it clear that sometimes it’s just best for upcoming or underground artists to just quit doing music if they see they are finding it difficult to ‘blow’.
Kuami Eugene and Kidi are on a media tour ahead of their show at the 02 Arena in March, and Kuami Eugene made the daring declaration during their interview on Citi TV when they were asked about how upcoming acts can be like them.
According to the singer and his colleague KiDi, making it as a big musician sometimes requires grace, and other times need more than grace.
Talent, in their opinion, is what makes the biggest difference, therefore putting all of your efforts and enthusiasm into musical talent can work wonders.
Kuami Eugene, who advises underground musicians on how to make it large, suggests that they enter music talent events, as they did with MTN Hitmaker.
He went on to say that you don’t have to expect to succeed because they have. Also, it’s possible that you’re only interested in it because you believe you can do it as well as they have, but as he previously stated, it will require more than just enthusiasm to succeed.
