The Ghana Police service has received another sad incident in respect to one of their personnel.
According to the police, one of their officers by name Sergeant Bright Annobil was stabbed to death by Yaw Pepprah, a suspect. This sad incident happened on Saturday, January 15th, 2022. The suspect was later shot dead by the Police after a man hunt.
Preliminary investigations have established that, Yaw Pepprah, the suspect was invited to the Berekum Police Station to assist the Police with investigations into a case involving himself which has been reported to the police.
Upon arrival, he turned on the police Sergeant and stabbed him severally on the neck and other parts of the his body. The suspects then escaped from the station.Â
The sergeant was rushed to the hospital but couldn’t make it there.
The Police hunted the suspect and shot him dead after the suspect again tried to harm the police officers who were hunting him down. This is the full story the Police has published on their social media pages.
