Former Deputy Minister for Transport and Aide to the Former President, John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has slammed the Minister of Information who doubles as the Member of Parliament representing the people in the Ofoase Ayirebi constituency, Honorable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah. The Information Minister recently stated that there is a possibility that there is some influence of partisanship in the sudden demonstration by labor groups.
Reacting to that, Joyce Bawah stated emphatically that Nana Addo and Bawumia are the ones who have indirectly triggered the various labor groups into organizing demonstrations. She referred Kojo Oppong Nkrumah to the times when the New Patriotic Party reduced Mahama’s administration to a laughing stock for Ghanaians by condemning literally every positive thing Mahama did for Ghanaians. She believed that their previous actions when in position is what is currently fuelling the labour groups.
Joyce Bawah also questioned the intention of Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and the NPP as they are not willing to make any negotiation with the labor unions.
