The recent circulating news that has undoubtedly sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms was when another top journalist boldly descended on the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo over the most anticipated 2022 budget containing the E-levy.
Even though most Ghanaians have undoubtedly raised lots of concerns over the introduction of the most anticipated E-levy policy by the incumbent government, others agreed otherwise as they defended their claims with respective arguments.
However, the minority in parliament have undoubtedly raised immense concerns over the implementation of the most anticipated E-levy in parliament as they voted against the policy even though the majority in parliament agreed otherwise as they claimed that, the E-levy would help solicit funds for the government in developing the country.
With respect to this, the popularly known USA-based Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Kelvin Taylor has taken the privilege to undoubtedly express his immense disappointment in the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo aside sharing his opinions and thoughts over the alarming issue concerning the passing of the E-levy policy in parliament.
In a recent social media post, the popularly known Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Kelvin Taylor highlighted that, the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo has unexpectedly borrowed an amount of Ghs 220 billion over the past 5 years as the President of Ghana but haven’t been able to fulfill his respective promises to Ghanaians with such huge money over the years.
The popularly known USA-based Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Kelvin Taylor also added that, if the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo couldn’t use the already stated amount which were borrowed over the past 5 years develop the country in terms of infrastructure, education and just to mention but a few, what then can the implementation of the E-levy generate to help improve upon the livelihood of Ghanaians aside developing the country.
