The Former Ambassador to Netherlands, Tony Aidoo joined Sena Nombo on the Alhaji and Alhaji Show after his last appearance on the show in 2014. He added his voice on the flag bearer race in the New Patriotic Party. Reminiscing the famous 2007 NPP primaries, Tony Aidoo laughed at a joke of the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketsia, that 17 thieves in the New Patriotic Party were contesting to become President of Ghana.
Tony Aidoo later did an analysis of the individual who is likely to become flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party. He descended heavily on Vice President,Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. According to Tony Aidoo, when it comes to credibility, Bawumia has lost it. He stated that Bawumia used derogatory words against Mahama when the NPP was in opposition. He also addressed the flip flop nature of Dr. Bawumia. This blasting got the NPP panelist to interject.
