We Are Ready To Deliver … Stars Coach Pledges

Milovan Rajevac

Black Stars head trainer, Milovan Rajevac, has given assurance of his side’s battle readiness for their game against Gabon this evening.

The Stars came under intense criticism after losing their first game against Morocco; creating doubts in the minds of many about how far the team will travel in the competition.

However, the Serbian trainer believes his charges are armed to the teeth to deliver today.

He said in a pre-match press conference yesterday that the team has undergone a lot of ‘restructuring’ after the Monday debacle to launch deeper.

“We are concentrating on Gabon, we are ready for Gabon. We are not sure about Kudus but hopefully, he will be available soon.”

And reacting to how he was handling the pressure ahead of the Gabon clash, he said, “There is always pressure ahead of games, but coaches are used to such pressures, but we are chanelling the pressure to positive performance.

“Our state of mind is perfect, we are ready to deliver. We need to step up our game, tactically we are ready, we had a lot of time to rest.”

Gabon, who won their first game against Comoros, on the other hand admitted that Ghana is a tough side but will employ every tactics to maintain their winning ways.
