I’m Very Optimistic That This Evening, Our Stars Will Shine – Okudzeto Ablakwa Boldly Declares

This Evening, the Ghana Black stars will take on the Panthers of Gabon in the second game of the group stage matches in the ongoing AFCON tournament in Cameroon.

Reacting to this crunch encounter between Ghana and Gabon, the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu constituency, Okudzeto Ablakwa, has stated that he is very optimistic that the Black Stars of Ghana will shine this evening by beating Gabon.

Okudzeto Ablakwa made this statement on ‘Good Morning Ghana’ on Metro television this morning, 14th January, when he gave his opinion on the AFCON match which will be played between Ghana and Gabon this evening.

According to Okudzeto Ablakwa, you do not show your loyalty and patriotism to the national team only in good times, but it is in difficult times that your loyalty and patriotism are needed.

Okudzeto Ablakwa indicated that he would like to rally Ghanaians that all hope is not lost with the Black Stars, although Gabon is not a pushover.

Okudzeto Ablakwa revealed that if you follow all these sports pundits and sports journalists, the major highlight is that Aubameyang is back. He is no longer isolating. He tested negative, and that will make the game between Ghana competitive.

“Having said that, Gabon is no where near the pedigree of Ghana, so we are still the favorites.”

Okudzeto Ablakwa stated this evening’s match between Ghana and Gabon is a make or break for the Ghana Black Stars because Gabon has three points already, so they are cruising at this point, and even a draw will be good for them, but we need a win at all cost so that we can sit pretty comfortable ahead of the Comoros match, which we are expected to win quite convincingly.

“I am very optimistic that this evening, our Stars will shine and return with glory, I’m absolutely confident.” He added.
