Reverend Christian Kwabena Andrews,the founder and leader of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM) popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom has stated clearly that his party will come back stronger if possible to win the next general elections and save the country’s economy.
According to him, they are coming to change the struggling economy from the hands of the NPP and create more jobs for the youths in the country.
Speaking to journalists in Accra he said:
“We are coming back stronger and better in the 2024 elections as we hope to change the economy of the country for the better, we will be coming like a wounded lion in the 2024 elections and rise to the first position to give Ghanaians better-living conditions,”
“Government must work hard and create jobs for the people instead of taxing them unnecessarily, provide affordable houses to reduce the huge rent burdens on families, encourage the youth to venture into farming while they aim to rebuild the country, bring back the ideas and ideals of former President Dr Kwame Nkrumah,” he added
He also urged Ghanaians to kick against the E-levy since it will only bring hardship to them and their businesses.
