Dede Ayew, the captain of the Black Stars of Ghana has come under several criticisms after he made it clear that he was unwell during the game between Ghana and Morocco.
According to him, he still wanted to play the game despite being unwell. At the end of the game, the Black Stars of Ghana was defeated by a goal to zero by Morocco.
Similar incident happened in 2010 and Black Stars still managed to reach the finals of the competition despite losing their very first game in the competition.

From the reactions above, some Ghanaians look very disappointed. They believe that, there were equally important players at the bench who could have replayed the captain.
However, the captain had assured Ghanaians that, his team will surely do everything possible to qualify for the next stage.
