The Volta region is also facing the tough robbery attacks just a few days into January 2022. The month of January should not be a month of robberies.
Volta region has recorded most of the robbery cases in the country aside the Greater Accra region.
Even though it has always been a superstitious believ that they hardly encounter criminal activities, it still records higher amount or numbers of robberies daily.
The robbers have seen that the securities in people’s homes are tight now and that is what everyone should be doing at the moment.
The fact that you feel safe in your locality does not prevent you from ensuring a safe and very secure place at home.
What these robbers are now doing is quiet dangerous and from the police, everyone should be on guard.
Especially for people in the Volta region, it has been reported that people are actually hiding in the various roads in this region and are looking for their prey.
The Ghana police in a press release this evening has revealed that they, the police have dispatched some abled men to see to it that they are arrested.
But from the police, they are heavily armed and are attacking citizens. Their current targets are the motorists and drivers.
They have been reported to have snatched over 70 plus motors and cars in the past few weeks and are doing this over and over again.
They have made certain zones their standing or hiding place and making barricades on some roads where their victims will be more vulnerable.
The citizens in the Volta region especially are advised to take notice of this and protect themselves.By protecting themselves, they are advised to travel in the day time and do their best to avoid night travels as a result if these dangers on the roads at the moment.
