If Dubai is not the first country on the list of most visited countries in the world in 2021, then it’s one of the most visited in 2021.
Almost every top footballer now has visited Dubai more than once, and I’m pretty sure some are still chilling out there. I know not only footballers visit Dubai, because most celebrities do, but it’s more likely that you find footballers who are spending their vacation in the UAE than any other celebrity.
Why should it surprise you that football players are the highest paid athletes in the world?
Due to the fame and wealth professional footballers get at the top level, it makes them look like people of higher standards in the public eye and makes some of them live like kings. So far, Dubai is one of the best places for professional footballers to spend their vacation.
Footballers feel safe in Dubai because of the country’s security. Footballers get the chance to chill around and have a better view of Dubai’s architecture. Most importantly, footballers get what they want in Dubai. Did you know that the president (king) of Dubai doesn’t move with security agencies around him?
Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the top celebrities who are highly honoured when they’re in Dubai. Because of his friendship with the Prince of Dubai, Cristiano Ronaldo now has a 10-year visa to Dubai. Though most footballers and other celebrities go to Dubai because they want to experience the great stuff in Dubai, most are invited into the country.
Footballers are the most influential celebrities on the planet, so if they choose Dubai to be their number one, most of their fans will also travel to Dubai, which will increase Dubai’s tourism income. Dubai and other UAE countries are buying European players into their leagues to boost their standards, and I think it’s working since a few top players like Iniesta, Andre Ayew, and James Rodriguez choose to play for them. Aubamenyang and Pogba are some of the few footballers who have visited Dubai just at the start of this year.
Dubai might also be inviting football into the UAE because they want the world to see them as a football country, and that will make fans visit their country when the world cup kicks off this year (2022). Do you think this World Cup in Qatar will be a successful one?
We all saw how Dubai surprised the football world with pictures of Ronaldo and Lewandoski on their Burj Khalifa tower when they won the Dubai global soccer awards. Dubai is really an amazing country but has a higher standard of living since the stuff there is expensive.
Who do you think is winning this year’s World Cup in Qatar?
Thanks for your time.
As always, “we see differently.”
