I’m Surprised That Nobody Is Asking Questions About Gabby Otchere Darko’s Stadium – Joyce Bawah

Gabby Otchere Darko and his siblings have constructed a state-of-art multipurpose sports complex at Kyebi to honor the memories of their late mother, Sophia Ofori-Atta.

Reacting to the construction of the sports complex by Gabby Otchere Darko and his siblings, the special aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has stated that she is surprised that so far, nobody is asking questions about how Gabby Otchere Darko can construct a state-of-the-art stadium to honor his mother.

Joyce Bawah Mogtari made this statement on ‘ALHAJI & ALHAJI’ on Pan Africa television this morning, 8th December 2022, when she gave her opinion on corruption in this country.

According to Joyce Bawah Mogtari, she is surprised that so far, she has not seen anybody asking questions about how suddenly Mr. Gabby Otchere Darko can go and construct a state-of-the-art stadium in honor of his late mother.

Joyce Bawah Mogtari indicated that when other appointees under John Dramani Mahama’s administration tried to honor their mothers in smaller ways, they were challenged, they were criticized, they were hauled before all sorts of institutions, and were viewed with suspicions.

These were all matters they were viewed as evidence of corruption against John Mahama’s administration.

“You know Sena, I will never want to succumb to any illusions that all these grandours conversation and talks that are going on are matters that we should be taking lightly. I have no doubt in my mind that this level of stealing, thievery, and clear acts of unparalleled corruption in the history of this country should not go unpunished.”

Joyce Bawah Mogtari added that if the Attorney General, Godfred Dame, genuinely believes that he has reasons to go after anybody, he should be going after immediately on corrupt government and public officials, and corrupt personal assistants who can build state of the art factories within 3-4 years in offices.
