I Recently Counted 57 Cars In Nana’s Convoy And Yet He Wants Us To Tighten Our Belts – Kwesi Pratt

The year 2022 has begun and Ghanaians are optimistic that things will turn around for all. The opposition NDC have however predicted that the misery of Ghanaians will continue because of bad leadership. They have cited examples with the proposed e-levy and the reversal of benchmark values. They have noted that the implementation of these two policies will end up burdening the already impoverished Ghanaian.

In reacting to the reversal of benchmark values, Kwesi Pratt maintained that the government has been unsympathetic to the cause of Ghanaians. He cited examples of huge government expenditures that have ended up imposing more taxes on Ghanaians. He narrated that on a recent discovery during a trip he spotted President Akufo-Addo with a convoy of about 57. He questioned the government’s commitment to cutting cost.

According to Kwesi Pratt, the government wants Ghanaians to cut down cost and yet they go about living luxuriously. In a funny explanation, Kwesi noted that the Akufo-Addo led government wants Ghanaians to tighten their belts and yet they go about without belts in their trousers. He called for the government to be accountable and cut down their expenditure this year.
