Sports betting is the activity of predicting an outcome of a sports event and putting a wager on the outcome. A lot of Ghanaian youths are addicted to sports betting. Some people have become so addicted and have gone to the extent of losing their properties due to betting. Though many prominent people and pastors have preached against betting but it seems the youth are still wallowing in the act in each day and night.
Today, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as Aplus is asking his numerous followers if it is about time we banned sports betting in Ghana. In fact, the comments from people are very intriguing. According to some people, the majority of the youth are into sports betting because of the high unemployment rate in the country.
