The National Communications officer, Sammy Gyamfi has gone wild on the Ministry of Communication and the minister for the minister, Honorable Ursula Owusu.
According to Gyamfi, Ghanaians should put the whole blame of sim reregistration issues on the ministry of Communication and the National Communications Authority.
He explained his point by saying that, Ghanaians provided their phone numbers when registering for the Ghana Card so there is no need for Ghanaians to visit any service agent to merge the Ghana Card and the sim card. Sammy Gyamfi believes that, the telecommunication companies can do this process very easy since they have the details of all their customers.
He also explained that, Ursula Owusu is making huge amounts of money from this sim registration because he has hired some Nigerian to do this sim registration process while it can be done by Telecommunications in Ghana.
He explained that, the data of Ghanaians with NIA should be given to the ‘Telecos’ to merge the Ghana Card with the sim cards but Ursula think otherwise. She has given this data to the Nigerian in order to take money from the Telecoms. This means the government will get no money from this but it will go to the Nigerians and Ursula Owusu.
