As we all know that we didn’t kick off our year 2022 on a front foot as a day after the 1st of January, the main Parliament chamber was set on fire. The day after the attack the Cape Town police department arrested a man who goes by the name of Zandile Mafe and laid arson charges on him.
However a lot of people didn’t agree with that, saying that Mafe had no motive of burning the Parliament house to ashes. Zandile has received a lot of support from high ranking politicians like Julius Malema and Duduzile Zuma, but it seems like they are about to back off after police came back with new evidence.
Yesterday timeslive caused a stir after they revealed some information about what they found in Zandile’s shack. However their discoveries left Mzansi suspecting that Zandile might have played a part in the 1993 hit of Chris Hani.
“Was he part of the hit?, did he help Janusz waluz murder Chris hani?”, a Twitter user comment. This comes after Timeslive reported that the police raided Mafe’s shack and political reports from 1980s newspapers and placards demanding the release of Chris Hani’s killer, Janusz Waluś.
But you wouldn’t blame those people on Twitter because this case of Zandile Mafe keeps on getting bizzare each and every day because the day before yesterday, the cops discovered that the guy has been training with the Russian army for the past 15 years.
There were people who are in support of the Chris Hani’s reaction down in the comment section, saying that “I absolutely agree with you, the guy is a professional arsonist, with high powers, he issued instructions for guards to stay off, switched off water sprinklers and CCTV, set parliament on 🔥then slept outside parly awaiting his arrest. Genius”

I still think that the guy is being used as a Scapegoat, and they have planted evidence. What’s your view about this matter? Don’t forget to leave your thoughts in the comment section.
