Sad News Hit The NPP As One Of Their Former Chairman Sadly Dies

Ishmeal Ayitey, a former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, has passed away . This sad occurrence happened today, 7th January 2022. The cause of his death is unknown for now. However, it is alleged that he died as a result of a short and unfortunate incidence. He died at the age of 67.

His role and achievements in the ruling New Patriotic Party is an unprecedented one. He has served as Member of Parliament for the Tema East constituency for three consecutive terms.

Also, he was appointed as Regional Minister for Greater Accra during Nana Addo’s first term in office. He was also planning to become the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party.

This is indeed a sad news and a major blow to the New Patriotic Party. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Condolences to the bereaved family and friends.
