Paul Adom Otchere Gets His Share Of Blame As Pressure Mounts On Him Over Embezzlement At Kotoka

New Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Limited, Paul Adom Otchere hasn’t been in office for long and already there are huge accusations against him. It is no secret that Paul, who hosts Good Evening Ghana is a staunch NPP and so it was not surprising that he was appointed by President Akufo-Addo to be board chair.

 Well, already pressure is mounting on the young man as critics have queried prices of some Christmas paraphernalia used at the Kotoka International Airport last December. In a post on Facebook today, Friday, January 7, 2022 Paul cleared the air regarding those accusations. According to Paul Adom, the decorations used during the festive season was the lowest of its kind since 2016. Many will read this as political considering that the NPP came to power in 2017.

Paul also noted that bidding was done for the Christmas Tree and the Company that won provided the trees at a cost of 34,000 cedis. Further explanations maintained that further paraphernalia amounting to 84,000 was covered with help from a sponsor who paid 50,000. 

Paul charged Ghanaians to disregard any rumors about unfounded allegations. He explained that at no point were invoices produced in his name for the decorations. He insisted that he and his team are doing everything to support the dream of the Transport Ministry and ultimately the dream of President Akufo-Addo.
