The former special assistant to former president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has reacted, hours after a Police CSP reportedly disgraced the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, openly.
According to a tweet he made on his verified twitter handle, Reno Omokri made it known that the way that Police CSP disgraced and disobeyed the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu shows that we need state police.
Speaking further, Reno Omokri stated it clearly that the incident should also open the eyes of those who think that Gov Sanwo-Olu ordered Lekki massacre, making it known that if a police man can disobey him, how much more soldiers.
This is really sad and unfortunate. I really don’t see any reason why a police officer should disobey a governor who was elected by the people. This is totally wrong and should be condemned in its entirety. The Governor is the chief security officer of the state and he must be respected by everyone.
