According to the reports given by the pastor, he said that he was looking forward to this claiming that if 1 presidential candidate who loves God wins then it would be a win for everyone.
“I would like for God to make the winner of the oncoming General elections be a president whose win will be the win of the church because if he wins, it will mean that kenyans will be under the Protection of God. So let’s make sure they we pray for the people of Kenya and the oncoming General elections. We don’t want to loose more lives like the previous elections, I’m hoping and praying that God gives kenyans a president who will put Him first. The win of the church means its a win for God so let the next president be led by God”, he said.
Expressing his opinion on the matter, the former Governor of Nairobi, Mike Sonko said that he was also praying for the same. Despite the fact he didn’t state his preferred candidate, Sonko claimed this would be a good thing adding that he is also looking out for the same outcome.
While reacting to the Pastor’s sermon , kenyans who took to their different social media accounts to express their opinions and suggestions on the matter have called upon all pastors in Kenya to come together and pray for the oncoming General elections in order to avoid any type of violence.
For most Kenyans, they claimed that its so much better for a president to become without kenyans having to shed their blood one in order to avoid pain and agony as it had been witnessed in 2007 elections where an unknown number of kenyans lost their lives.
