Since graphics if the interchange was seen, a debate was generated by Ghanaians to find the president who really started it. The pokuase interchange saw massive improvements under the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). It was started under them and also completed under their regime. After the president, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo commissioned the project, the NDC came out that the interchange was the idea of John Dramani Mahama and also, he started it before Ghanaians voted him out. Most people too have been saying the project was the idea of John Dramani Mahama whiles others have been saying it’s the work of Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.
A post by Sammy Gyamfi, the communication director for the NDC on his Facebook page showing gratitude to John Dramani Mahama for building the Pokuase interchange has generated many mix reactions from Ghanaians.
Some have been saying it’s true that John Mahama built it so there’s no need for Sammy Gyamfi to rant about it. Others too have been saying the project was started as completed by this government so the NDC should stop that propaganda. Others too have shared that it’s true Mahama built it because he even created the Heaven that everyone want to see. According to some citizens, whether NDC built it or NPP built it, it’s their money that built it so there’s no need to rant about it.
