According to the video, the deputy president is seen blasting Raila Odinga and most of his allies for referring to him as ‘Baba’. For years now, the former prime minister has been known for his political name ‘Baba’.
Many of his allied leaders have been referring to him as ‘Baba’ as well as his supporters. His name is heard from rallies that he occasionally attends.
William Ruto has however laughed off Kenyans referring to Raila as ‘Baba’ telling them how one called someone from nowhere a ‘Baba’. According to the video, Ruto told a section of Kenyans referring to him as ‘Baba’ that they have their fathers back their homes.
Raila Odinga himself has been referring to himself as ‘Baba’ which according to him he takes care of all Kenyans.
