26 Health Workers Beaten As Military Men Search For Those Who Assaulted Two Soldiers At Domefaase, Kasoa

Health Workers at Domefaase, a town near Kasoa have abandoned posts and fled for their lives after 26 of them were mistakenly beaten among 100s of Domefaase residents rounded up by the military in their search for perpetrators who assaulted two soldiers on Tuesday 25th August.

Reporting on the issue, Adom FM’s reporter narrated that the town has become a ghost town as residents have deserted the town when the military arrived. There are currently over 200 military men sweeping the town for the perpetrators with close to 100 people arrested so far. Those arrested include women and children who are being interrogated by the military to give up the perpetrators.

This is after clashes between residents of Domefaase and some soldiers which resulted in two soldiers brutally assaulted over a piece of land they were protecting for the Mponuahene of Akyem Apedwa who they claim is the owner.
